About US
Our Principal, Edward Shippen "Ship" Bright, has extensive experience in private business, government, and nonprofit world. He has been a Founder of an award winning science education nonprofit, Board member of community nonprofits, Executive Director for organizations in Maine and Alaska, Development Director for Audubon Alaska, and a Senior Development Officer at Harvard University. He is knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of nonprofit organziations.
Ship has been at the forefront of US cultural diplomacy through his award of two Fulbright Scholarships. Selected by The US State Department and the joint Czech-US Fulbright Commission, he was appointed as Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Charles University and University of Economics, Prague where he taught future European leaders the critical role of the Civil Society Sector in democracies and how to manage them for maximum impact. His second Fulbright will take him to the University of the Bahamas for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Bright has been a featured speaker and workshop leader at numerous domestic and international conferences.
He has a B.A from Bates College, M.B.A. from the University of Southern New Hampshire and an M.P.A. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
